The 44th President of the United States of America, Mr. Barack Obama, will visit Kolding.

The visit takes place on Friday, September 28th 2018 at SDU Kolding. President Barack Obama will participate in a moderated Q&A conversation for an audience of business leaders, university students, and local dignitaries under the headline “A Conversation with President Barack Obama”.
The Business Association Kolding is organizing the event. Morten Bjørn Hansen, the CEO of Business Kolding, is looking forward to meeting the President responsible for one of the largest job creation programs in US history.

President Obama used his famous slogan ‘Yes We Can’ throughout his presidency and he was renowned for making things happen. "With this event, Business Kolding demonstrates that it can do the same," says Jørn Pedersen, Mayor of Kolding.
“At this event, current and future leaders will have an opportunity to experience President Obama first hand. Everyone can expect to be inspired. And we have every reason to be proud,” says Jørn Pedersen about the upcoming milestone event.
While Business Kolding has organized the event, it seemed only natural to make SDU’s magnificent Kolding Campus the venue.
“SDU is an international university with a strong vision. We wish to break down barriers and mould the future. We are convinced that President Barack Obama’s visit will give us a tremendous boost,” says Vice-Chancellor Henrik Dam, SDU.
