Join us for a guided visit to Koldinghus, one of Denmark's oldest and most important royal castles - a landmark in the heart of Kolding.
For more than 750 years, Koldinghus has served as a medieval fortress, a Renaissance castle, and a royal residence. Following a devastating fire in 1808, the castle was carefully restored and transformed into the museum we know today.
During our visit, we will explore the castle's fascinating history, architecture, and exhibitions. We will also experience the special exhibition Woven Masterpieces, showcasing some of Denmark's most remarkable tapestries and woven artworks. Through these impressive works, you will discover how textiles have reflected power, culture, and everyday life for more than 550 years of Danish history.
Along the way, you'll encounter highlights such as the famous Flora Danica collection, hear stories about Danish kings and queens, and experience how history comes alive within the castle walls.
After the guided tour, there will be time to enjoy the atmosphere, explore the castle further, and network with fellow internationals.
